About This Place

Nestled on Old Hickory Boulevard in Nashville, Tutti Da Gio is a Sicilian and Southern Italian gem that delivers authentic flavors and a truly memorable dining experience. Specializing in traditional Italian cuisine with a focus on wood-fired pizzas and hearty pastas, this restaurant captures the essence of Sicily’s rich culinary heritage with every dish.

The star of the menu is undoubtedly the pizza, each 12-inch pie embodying the passion and craftsmanship of true Italian cooking. The Diavola Pizza, layered with fresh mozzarella and crispy pepperoni atop a perfectly fermented dough, offers a delightfully chewy crust with mouthwatering smoky notes from the wood-fired oven. For those seeking a unique twist, the Norma Pizza combines tender eggplant and creamy ricotta that harmonize beautifully with the simple, fresh tomato sauce.

Beyond the pizza, Tutti Da Gio shines with its pasta selections—rich, comforting, and meticulously prepared. The Pasta Al Sugo Con Polpette captures the heart of Italian comfort food with tender meatballs nestled in a luscious tomato sauce, while the Salmon Pasta dazzles with a delicate creaminess that complements perfectly cooked seafood. The gnocchi ai Quattro Formaggi, bathed in a luscious blend of four cheeses, offers a rich, velvety indulgence that will satisfy any cheese lover’s craving.

Appetizers and salads provide vibrant, fresh contrasts to the richer dishes. Crispy, golden arancini stuffed with ragu and mozzarella are a satisfying starter, while the Vulcano Insalata, featuring a medley of tomatoes, cucumbers, capers, olives, and onions, adds a refreshing and tangy balance with its housemade dressing. The Caprese salad, with sweet tomatoes and creamy mozzarella, is a classic done to perfection, praised by visitors for its freshness and flavor.

No Sicilian meal is complete without dessert, and Tutti Da Gio delivers traditional sweets that delight the palate. The cannoli, filled with sweet ricotta and sprinkled with pistachios, provide a crisp, creamy finish, while the tiramisu layers mascarpone cream and coffee-soaked ladyfingers to create a luscious symphony of flavors. The Cassatina—a marzipan and ricotta cake studded with chocolate chips and candied fruit—and the Belgian-style Bianco E Nero cream puff further showcase the kitchen’s dedication to authentic Italian desserts.

The dining atmosphere at Tutti Da Gio is warm and inviting, offering a casual yet refined setting that encourages guests to savor each bite and feel transported to Italy’s sun-soaked shores. Although some reviewers have noted that outdoor seating can be a little buggy, the quality of the food makes it well worth the minor inconvenience. Many diners prefer takeout or pizza delivery to enjoy their meal in the comfort of home.

Patrons consistently praise Tutti Da Gio for its genuine Italian flavors and attention to quality ingredients. Phillip Ooi highlights the perfectly chewy, 24-hour fermented pizza crust topped with fresh ricotta and crisp pepperoni as a culinary triumph. Letizia Vaccaro calls it “some of the best Sicilian food” she has ever had, recommending dishes from the Capricciosa pizza to the meatball parm panino. Meanwhile, Dema H found the salmon pasta “delicious” with a cream sauce that blends beautifully with the salmon, and the spaghetti and meatballs described as “heavenly.”

Tutti Da Gio truly stands out by embracing authentic Sicilian traditions and offering a rich, flavorful menu that caters to both pizza aficionados and lovers of southern Italian classics. Whether you’re seeking a lively dinner spot or convenient takeaway, this restaurant promises a taste journey that celebrates Italy’s vibrant culinary heritage with every bite.

If you’re craving genuine Italian flavors, look no further than Tutti Da Gio. Their wood-fired pizzas boast a perfectly chewy crust, fermented for over 24 hours, and topped with quality ingredients like crispy pepperoni and fresh ricotta. The pasta dish dish ordered was equally impressive. The gnocchi, drenched in a rich cream and pesto sauce, is a standout, offering a comforting experience. Tutti Da Gio truly brings a slice of Sicily to Tennessee. Highly recommend. It was a good 15-20 min wait but not too bad

Some of the best Sicilian food i have had in my lifetime is right here. Over many different trips here, I had the capricciosa pizza, the arancini, an espresso ice dessert, the pasta with clams, and the meatball parm panino. It is high-quality good food. My sister came here once as well and tried the caprese salad and the shrimp in garlic and butter - she said the food was incredible. If you are looking for some good quality sicilian food this is the place for you. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Great pizza with a flavorful sauce and chewy crust. A must try Neapolitan style pizza. The only draw back is the location and that you will need to sit outside. It can be a little too buggy for my preference. Pick up seems to be the choice of many.

I was wanting Italian food and we stumbled onto Tutti Da Gio.This place deserves 10+stars! Let me start with my husband's spaghetti & meatballs. He said it was heavenly. The sauce-the flavors was nice and smooth and the meatballs were wonderful. I had the pasta with salmon in a cream sauce. I was not expecting it to be that delicious. The cream sauce & the salmon flavors marry well and doesn't overpower each other. The bread was really good too! We ate outside & it was very nice and lit and covered.Their pizza is cooked in a brick oven. My husband took a bite of the pepperoni pizza and said "oh my goodness this is fantastic & I love this crust! I tried the pizza and I've never tried brick fire pizza but after trying this,I will never go back to chain pizza places. The bottom crust was perfectly tender & no burnt spots. (This is local restarant with another location in Hendersonville.) We got the pizza & dessert to go for tomorrow. We even got to meet the owner & her husband. They were so sweet and she explained alot of ways the Italians cook vs how we cook basic Italian food. We will definitely be back.
